US President Joe Biden has swapped the cold temperatures of Washington for the warmth of the Caribbean. According to Euronews, the US leader and his family are on vacation and will be spending the new year in Santa Cruz, in the US Virgin Islands. 

This is a time for rest, but also for reflection. According to the White House, the head of state will use the next few days to decide whether to run again for president of the United States in 2024.

At the age of 80, Biden has already expressed his desire to run for a second term, but no formal decision has yet been made.
