Coach João Chissano has submitted his letter of resignation to the Textáfrica board, four months after signing his contract.
However, after taking some time to relax the internal turmoil at the club, especially in relation to the players who are not receiving salaries, Chissano concluded that there were no conditions to go ahead with the agreements.
It is known that the president of the 'fabris' Alfredo Dezima did not take the message well and is trying to reverse the coach's irreversible decision. Dezima promises to overcome the decision in the next few days.
It is understood that Chissano sent the letter while in Maputo after the last match in Lichinga. Some players have also joined their families in Maputo.
Textáfrica started 2024 with Abdul Omar at the helm, but he joined the team late because some situations were not defined. Omar was removed from his post for publicly complaining about poor working conditions and a lack of cooperation from the management.
