United States (US) President Donald Trump said on Thursday that he will decide within two weeks whether Washington will get directly involved in the conflict between Israel and Iran.
Quoted by the international press, Trump says that two weeks will be enough to decide whether a diplomatic solution is possible.
It should be noted that the conflict between Israel and Iran entered its eighth day today, with both sides exchanging hundreds of missile attacks, which have already caused dozens of deaths in Iranian attacks, while Tehran has suffered hundreds of fatalities.
Israel claims that its decision to attack was to ensure its survival, as it is increasingly concerned about the rapid development of Iran's nuclear program.
On Thursday, a missile hit the vicinity of the European Union delegation in Tel Aviv, according to several sources consulted by Euronews.
The origin of the missile was not immediately clear, but it is presumed to be a projectile fired by Iran at Israel, as part of the military escalation between the two countries.
The distance between the EU delegation and the projectile fired is between 400 and 500 meters, according to two sources.
The attack took place on Thursday near a neighborhood where several European embassies are located, including those of the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, North Macedonia and Ireland, as well as the Tel Aviv-Savidor central railway station.
