Ireland wants to continue to support community development initiatives and technical assistance to strengthen the country's capacity to respond to climate change.
The information was shared a few days ago in Maputo by the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee of the Irish parliament, according to Rádio Moçambique.
Charles Flanagan, who was speaking at a meeting with the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, said that these actions would strengthen government cooperation between the two countries.
For some years now, Ireland has been a strategic partner of Mozambique in various projects related to climate change and beyond.
It should be noted that a delegation from the Irish parliament visited Inhambane province to assess the level of implementation of the projects funded by the European country.
