More than 300 families in the Inhassoro district of Inhambane will now be using piped gas for cooking, with the completion of an equal number of domestic connections planned for this year.
The permanent secretary of the Inhassoro government, José Matsinhe, says that with the start-up of the new gas processing plant in this district, forest destruction will be reduced.
At the moment, in Inhassoro district, Inhambane province, there are at least 1,900 families with domestic gas connections. (RM)
