On Friday night, unknown assailants stole computer equipment from the Technical Secretariat for Electoral Administration, in the district of Inhassoro, Inhambane province.
The Provincial Director of STAE in that part of the country says that the stolen material has no connection with the electoral process.
The computer equipment stolen is administrative and not linked to the electoral process.
"They took two computers, two printers and two cables. This material is only administrative and has nothing to do with the electoral process," said César Silva, director of STAE in Inhambane.
Regarding the electoral process, the province of Inhambane will need more than 11,000 polling station staff, whose interviews for the tabulation of part of them will begin in the next few days.
"At the moment we've already closed recruitment, what's happening now is that the interviews for the provincial trainers are about to end." (O País)
