In Inhambane, the flow of migrants is increasing as a result of the resumption of tourist activity after the restrictions imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Last April alone, more than four and a half thousand tourists migrated through the air crossing points in the cities of Inhambane and Vilankulo, according to the RM.
The spokeswoman for the Provincial Directorate of Migration in Inhambane said that the number of visitors registered at the province's airports was satisfactory compared to previous months.
Rosângela Vilanculo said that the majority of foreign visitors come from South Africa and Europe and are looking to Inhambane as their preferred destination for leisure and investment in tourism.
The source said that as part of the control of entries by air and land of foreign citizens, the Migration services in Inhambane have registered cases of illegals, who have already been duly referred. (RM)
