A new tourism development opened its doors this Saturday, increasing the range of choices for leisure and accommodation in Maputo province.
The inaugurated establishment was given the seal "Clean and Safe". The investment in the new enterprise was more than 15 million meticais.
The governor of Maputo province, Júlio Parruque, quoted by the newspaper Notícia, said in his inauguration speech that "The Gardens" presents an infrastructure of quality and international standard, offering integrated services, from catering and entertainment through recreational fishing in artificial lakes, playground, recreational sports such as Paint Ball, foot billiards, among other sports practiced in the park's multipurpose field.
Parruque explained that the "Clean and Safe" seal, which certifies "The Gardens", complies with the sanitary protocol approved by the Ministry of Health (MISAU), transmitting comfort and safety to its clients. "Likewise, it proves that the instance is prepared to satisfy the desires of those who access its services."
With 20 workers, mostly young people, the enterprise is contemporary and large-scale tourism. As a result, Parruque encouraged the employers to broaden their horizons and investments by boosting nature-based rural tourism.
The governor also referred that the Provincial Executive will continue to support initiatives that promote Maputo as a genuine tourist destination by excellence and the right place to invest, to be and to be, making it more competitive, creative and in continuous growth.
