The National Meteorological Institute (INAM) today warned of the formation of another low pressure system along the Indian Ocean basin, which could develop into a moderate tropical storm on March 4.
According to a note from INAM, the system formed northeast of the island of Madagascar, in the southwest Indian Ocean basin.
"However, it does not yet constitute a danger to the Mozambique Channel or the continental part of our country," warns INAM.
In the meantime, the institution is monitoring the evolution of this system and appeals to the population to continue to follow the meteorological information and warnings issued by the competent authorities.
