Members of the school boards in the administrative post of Megaza, which is about 45 km from the district headquarters, are accused of electoral offenses.

Their names were on the lists sent to the census offices in the municipal area to be attended to as cases that deserved priority.

There are 41 civil servants in the education sector whose names have been listed in the criminal case being brought by the Public Prosecutor's Office in the Morrumbala district.

The first hearing session was held on June 27 and the second was scheduled for June 30, but was postponed and no new date has yet been set.

It is suspected that the prosecutor was pressured by Frelimo to abandon the case.
