Hélder Duarte was presented yesterday as the new coach of Associação Black Bulls. The Portuguese coach returns to the club that propelled him into Mozambican soccer three years later.
"They say you can never go back to a place where you were happy. I don't think I'm going back anywhere because I've never left. This has always been my home and it will always be wherever I am", said the coach, quoted by The country.
On his return, the Portuguese coach says that his mission is to win every domestic competition in which the "Bulls" are involved. The ambitions go beyond the domestic level, as the club aims to reach the group stage of the Nelson Mandela Cup.
As well as coaching the first team, Hélder Duarte will coordinate all the youth teams, one of the Black Bulls' biggest bets since its conception. However, the coach believes that the success of the project requires everyone's involvement.
The president of the Black Bulls, Junaid Lalgy, guarantees that all the conditions are in place for the coach to do a good job. The "Bulls" helmsman says that the club's project for this year goes beyond borders.
It should be remembered that Hélder Duarte was national champion for the Black Bulls in his debut year on Mozambican soil.
