A report shared by Google indicates that a group of Russian 'hackers' - known as Coldriver or Callisto - made attempts to break into NATO networks and even military institutions in some European countries. The information is advanced by Noticias ao Minuto.

The report shared by the Threat Analysis Group division of the Mountain View technology company indicates that "credential phishing campaigns" have been carried out, according to SKY, cited by the news source. This means that hackers tried to obtain credentials of NATO officials and European armies in order to penetrate their respective networks.

Russian cyber-attacks have been recurrent since the beginning of the conflict, with other 'hacker' groups such as Anonymous also using these types of offensives to undermine the operability of Russian institutions.
