Governo trabalha com Interpol no combate ao crime e raptos

On Wednesday, the interior minister confirmed the collaboration of agents from the International Criminal Police Organization, also known as INTERPOL, in the fight against various types of crime, including kidnappings.

Paulo Chachine said that the aim of this “joint operation” is to combat kidnapping, murder, drug trafficking and other related crimes, and that the operation is taking place simultaneously in other African countries.

Without giving too many details about the operation, the permanence of the force and so on, he limited himself to saying that the result of this operation could certainly be known in the end.

He was speaking today in Matola, after the investiture ceremony of the new provincial commander of the Mozambique Republic Police in Maputo province, Rosário Miquitaio, and the new commander of the Matalane Police Practical School, Lurdes Mabunda.
