Government wants to expand industrial park for the transformation

The enlargement of the national industrial park for the transformation of the product at a local level will be one of the government's bets next year.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MIC), the idea is to contribute to the reduction or substitution of imports and to increase revenue collection levels without systematically suffocating the same companies with tax payments.

The Minister of Industry and Commerce, Carlos Mesquita, says that the Executive will continue to create incentives for moralization, opening space in markets, both preferential and bilateral, in which the product factor, associated with certifications, can help internationalize locally produced goods.

"As a government, we have adopted a set of measures for the improvement of the business environment. I am talking about the approval of a new regime for the constitution of movable guarantees and the operationalization of the Central Registry of Movable Guarantees, which aims to expand the range of assets that can be used as collateral with financial institutions," said Carlos Mesquita, quoted by Notícias.

In fact, Carlos Mesquita considers that the new regime for the constitution of movable guarantees and the start-up of the respective central will allow more people to have access to financing and to the registration and digital search of the guarantees made available in credit relations.

"The e-taxation was also made operational, which is allowing taxpayers to submit their tax returns electronically, as well as pay their taxes via bank," he stressed.

The governor pointed to the elimination of the Pre-Shipment Inspection (IPE) and the introduction of the "Simplified Customs Clearance" for exports as measures that he believes are making imports and exports more flexible and faster, reducing time and costs.
