In the path of the "energy for all" project, the government and partners invested 315 million dollars to electrify Mitande, Niassa province.  

With the amount was built a power subsection of the national grid with the capacity of 33 kilovolts that will provide electricity to Three thousand families.

To date at least one thousand four hundred twenty-three families are already benefiting from electricity that is already galvanizing the region's development.

The enterprise was inaugurated by the President of the Republic Filipe Nyusi, as part of his two-day visit to Niassa.

The Head of the administrative post of Mitande, in Mandimba, Carlos Ussene, said that with the electrification, that region is registering significant advances in the social and economic areas.

The Mitande electrification project lasted three months.
