The Minister of Health, Armindo Tiago, assured on Thursday morning that the national health system has a stock of medicines available for the next three months.
On the second day of questions to the government in Parliament, Armindo Tiago guaranteed that in June, "the country will receive another stock of medicine for another six months".
He also said that the national health system had already paid off 40% of its debts to suppliers.
Yesterday, the Prime Minister, Adriano Maleiane, also said in Parliament that the government is continuing to take steps to ensure greater access and improved quality in the provision of services to the population, focusing on the construction, rehabilitation, upgrading and equipping of health facilities with equipment and health professionals.
