The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, announced today, that more oil and bean processing plants may start operating later this year, in the province of Nampula.

Filipe Nyusi said he expects agriculture to again contribute significantly to the growth of the economy by at least five percent per year.

The Head of State was speaking, moments ago, after inaugurating a corn processing plant, in Nampula province.

This is a corn processing plant in the province of Nampula, with capacity for about 100 tons per day. Around 130 million Meticais were invested by private investors for the construction of the enterprise.
