The government, through the Ministry of State Administration and the Civil Service (MAEFP), has revealed that it has so far included 95% of the 370,000 civil servants in the Single Salary Table (TSU).
Speaking this Sunday (23), on the occasion of Civil Service Day, the national director of Strategic Management of Human Resources at the MAEFP, Esménia Mualeia, said that everything is being taken care of so that civil servants don't feel disadvantaged by the TSU framework.
"We are already at the final stage, at a very advanced stage of the framework process and we have a remaining 5% that have not yet been framed, but this is due to the situation of employees who have been dismissed and are at this stage being reinstated and their situation needs to be regularized," he revealed.
The Civil Service Day celebrations will be held today, Monday (24), where there will be an award ceremony for employees who have distinguished themselves over the past year.
In an interview with Radio MozambiqueShe added that this does not include employees who have applied for unrestricted and registered leave and also some retired employees.
Speaking about the displaced civil servants in Cabo Delgado, Mualeia said that they had been placed in districts where security was guaranteed. "What we have done, in coordination with the province, is to take these [displaced] civil servants to the nearest districts that are safe and assign them to related institutions," he said.
When asked about the existence of employees who are displaced and not working, the source said there were no such cases.
Meanwhile, on the subject of corruption in the civil service, without giving any figures, the national director of Strategic Human Resources Management said that cases are tending to reduce. "We have a few cases, but they have been reducing significantly, thanks to the work that the Attorney General's Office (PGR) has been doing, the Anti-Corruption Office has also been doing and also the work that is being done by our Public Administration Inspectorate," she concluded.
