The Mozambican government and the World Bank will disburse 76 million meticais for the implementation of the Productive Social Action program in seven districts of southern Zambezia, according to RM.
The program was launched this Monday at the Maquival administrative post and should be implemented in six months in the districts of Quelimane, Inhassunge, Nicoadala, Mopeia, Namacurra, Morrumbala and Derre.
The delegate of the National Institute for Social Action in Quelimane, José Amoda, said, as quoted by RM, that more than 8,000 beneficiaries will be involved in the seven districts, with each beneficiary working three days a week and four hours a day.
The days of the week and the time the work starts are defined by the local communities.
