The President of the Republic ensures that the process of restoring public services in the districts affected by terrorism in Cabo Delgado province is well underway.
The Head of State told Radio Mozambique, for example, that it has already been possible to restore water and electricity in districts that were without these services for more than a year.
Filipe Nyusi said that at this moment the restoration of banking services and telecommunications is underway at a time when, voluntarily, the population is also returning to their areas of origin.
Nyusi was speaking during a meeting with the Mozambican community in Malabo, the capital of Equatorial Guinea.
"We were able to run with them in all the main towns and some villages. Communications were non-existent, you can talk now, we are putting public services, schools, health centers and hospitals, but also banking services, these are signs of return," he said.
He reiterated that despite the threats of terrorism, Mozambique will move forward in the natural gas exploration projects in the Rovuma basin.
In continuation of his state visit to Equatorial Guinea, Filipe Nyusi, visited, this Thursday, Punta Europa, an oil refinery industrial complex, in Malabo, where he also learned about natural gas processing.
The Head of State also visited the Malabo national park and the Peace Hospital, a reference health unit in Equatorial Guinea.
