Government defends the creation of essential services for the return of displaced people in Cabo Delgado

The minister of labor and social security and head of the mission of the council of ministers to Cabo Delgado, argues that the return of the displaced population to their areas of origin, should be accompanied with the installation of essential services and the government machinery.

Speaking this Saturday at the end of the council of ministers' mission to this province, Margarida Talapa said that it is primordial that the administrative power is on the ground in order to create and guarantee basic conditions for the population to return to their communities.

Talapa also mentioned the sensitization of state employees and people to return to their jobs as one of the essential elements in the reconstruction process of the areas affected by terrorism, in a process that according to the leader must be inclusive at all levels.

The consolidation of the clean-up in the areas affected by violent extremism and the reinforcement of surveillance were other recommendations left by Margarida Talapa to the Cabo Delgado government.

The mission of the council of ministers that worked for four days in Cabo Delgado, evaluated in a positive way the involvement of the leaderships in the process of reconstruction of the areas affected by violent extremism.
