The government, through the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, decrees a day-off tolerance for this Wednesday, in Maputo City, on the occasion of November 10th, the day Maputo was elevated to the category of city.

The Minister of Labor and Social Security, Margarida Talapa, said in a statement that the measure covers all workers, civil servants, and citizens of the country's capital.

"The point tolerance does not cover workers, whose nature of their activity does not allow interruption in the public interest," reads a statement.
