This Friday, the government has granted time off to state and local officials who profess the Muslim religion on the occasion of the celebration of EID-UL-FITRE.

According to the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, the tolerance does not cover workers whose nature of activity does not allow for interruption in the public interest.

"Everyone is urged to scrupulously respect the provisions of articles 4 and 5 of Decree No. 14/2022 of April 20 when implementing the measures to prevent and contain covid-19 approved by the government," reads the statement issued by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security.
