Government grants half-day tolerance for tomorrow, December 31

The Minister of Labor and Social Security, Margarida Talapa, grants tolerance of time off from 12 noon on December 31, 2021 to all state workers and employees on the occasion of the celebration of the first day of the year 2022.

However, according to a statement from the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, the half-day tolerance does not cover workers whose nature of work does not allow interruption for public interest.

In the same statement, the minister urges all Mozambicans to scrupulously comply with the measures to contain the spread of covid-19 for the duration of the Public Calamity Situation.
