Government announces tomorrow measures to contain high cost of living

The Government of Mozambique announces this Tuesday, August 9, at 4:00 PM, at the Joaquim Chissano Conference Center, the program of structural measures for economic reform.

The measures are aimed at stimulating economic activity in the country by boosting the private sector, promoting the diversification of productive activities, and creating conditions for the expansion and use of the unexploited potential offered by the various sectors of the economy.

The measures also aim to alleviate the high cost of living that has been experienced nationwide.

The measures are expected to have a major impact on the private sector. There is talk of a total of 22 economic reform measures that will make Mozambique the competitive country in the SADC region.
