Government acquires twenty new buses for public transportation

The Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) has just acquired twenty new buses for urban public passenger transport, said the Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications, Amilton Alissone, quoted by Notícias online.

According to the deputy minister, who was speaking at the end of his working visit to the bus maintenance workshop in Tchumene, a total of seven buses are already in Maputo and the remaining 13 will arrive in April.

The source also said that the diesel buses cost around 93.3 million meticais, disbursed by the Transport and Communications Fund (FTC).
