Glória da Conceição Adamo was sworn in on Monday in Maputo as the new Director of the Central Office for Combating Corruption.
During her swearing-in, Beatriz Buchili, the Attorney General of the Republic, highlighted Glória da Conceição Adamo's experience in the judiciary, which, according to her, raises expectations that she will carry out the duties entrusted to her with responsibility and professionalism.
The incumbent began her professional career in 2002 on the staff of the Maputo Provincial Prosecutor's Office, as a 1st Assistant Prosecutor. However, in 2009 she was appointed to the position of Chief Prosecutor of the 5th Criminal Chamber of the Maputo Provincial Court, and in 2014 she was appointed to the position of Chief Prosecutor of Inhambane, Buchili said.
Until his appointment, he headed the Specialized Department for the Control of Legality and chaired the Commission for the Receipt and Verification of Asset Declarations of the OPG.
