Almost seven years after the interruption, Tmcel - Moçambique Telecom recently re-established the network in the districts of Mapai (Combomune Administrative Post), Chigubo (Nalazi, Nhazilo, Papiline Crossing, District Headquarters-Ndindiza) and Chicualacuala (district headquarters), in the north of Gaza province.

The restoration of data and voice services in that province is part of the implementation of the Tmcel network modernization and expansion project and the company's current revitalization process, which has been underway since May 2023.

With this expansion, more areas of Gaza province will benefit from the 4.5G network, allowing customers to enjoy better quality web content, such as high-definition videos, faster downloads of applications and games.
