Road accidents continue to claim lives on national roads. In Gaza province, in the Muzamane region, four people lost their lives this Saturday as a result of a road accident.

According to Rádio Moçambique, the accident involved a semi-collective passenger transport vehicle that was carrying believers from a church coming from the Bilene district to Mandlakazi.

Júlio Nhamússua, spokesman for the Police of the Republic of Mozambique in Gaza, points to speeding, together with the mechanical deficiencies of the vehicle, as the causes of the accident.

According to the source, the six injured as a result of this road accident were taken to Xai-Xai Provincial Hospital.
