The Frelimo party is calling on Mozambican doctors not to resort to the strike announced last week, while the government makes the corrections detected in the Single Wage Table (TSU).
The Medical Association of Mozambique (AMM) announced last week that it will resort to a 21-day extendable strike as a way to pressure the Government to review the framework of the class in the TSU.
The ruling party manifested itself this Saturday, through its first secretary in Maputo City, Razaque Manhique.
"It is not a strike that should be done, because the country is ours. The TSU aims to improve people's lives, so it is necessary that we are together to support these transformations," said the secretary quoted by the portal "O País'.
According to the AMM, the government proposed a certain framework at the time of the talks with the class, but the document approved in parliament reduced the position of doctors, making it even imply a reduction of current salaries.
