Empresa Águas da Região Metropolitana de Maputo, SA (AdRMM) informs its customers and the general public that it has been experiencing anomalies in the water supply to the cities of Maputo, Matola and Vila de Boane since the morning of Thursday, May 4.

The situation stems from a breakdown in the main electricity supply line that feeds the Umbelúzi Water Treatment Plant in Maputo Province.

Work is underway to restore normal operation of the service, the impact of which is reflected in a drop in pressure and pockets of water shortages in some neighborhoods supplied by the Umbelúzi system.
