The Mozambican head of state, Filipe Nyusi, will begin a two-day working visit to Zimbabwe on Tuesday (26), at the invitation of his counterpart, Emmerson Mnangagwa.
During his visit, according to a statement issued by the Presidency of the Republic, Nyusi will participate as guest of honor at the 114th Zimbabwe Fair, which will be held under the slogan "Cultivating Prosperity: Growing Business, Innovating for Change and Nurturing our Future".
"President Nyusi's visit to Zimbabwe is also an opportunity for the two heads of state to exchange views on bilateral, regional, continental and international cooperation issues of mutual interest," the statement said.
The Zimbabwe Agricultural Show (ZAS) is a premier event that brings together diplomats, senior business executives, policymakers, government officials and private sector representatives, among other stakeholders.
It highlights the vital importance of promoting economic prosperity, boosting innovation and ensuring sustainability and resilience in the agricultural sector.
The fair also serves as a strategic platform for sharing innovative research results, exchanging knowledge and promoting collaborations with farmers, policymakers and other key stakeholders in the agricultural sector.
