The President of the Republic reaffirms that the government is committed to restoring security in the districts affected by the terrorist action, in the province of Cabo Delgado, so that investments can return.
Speaking this Wednesday at the end of his working visit to the European Union, based in Brussels, capital of the Kingdom of Belgium, Filipe Nyusi explained that the resumption of the liquefied natural gas megaproject, in the district of Palma, is even dependent on this.
The Mozambican statesman clarified that in his meetings with European Union personalities, the issue of resuming Total's activities in Afungi was also addressed, since it is not only of interest to Mozambique, but also to some European countries.
In parallel, Filipe Nyusi also explained, since our country does not have the financial capacity to support the presence of foreign troops, who help fight terrorism, the Mozambican executive came to Brussels to mobilize resources not only for Mozambique, but also for the intervening countries.
