The President of the Republic and President-in-Office of the Southern African Development Community (SADC), Filipe Nyusi, is participating today, Tuesday, in the 13th United States-Africa Business Summit, under the theme "New Pathways to a Stronger Economic Partnership between the United States and Africa"..
The Summit, taking place in a virtual format, will take place today through July 29 and will focus on the next phase of the U.S.-Africa economic partnership, highlighting key areas of cooperation such as "health, gender equality, trade and investment, energy transition, climate change, agro-processing, infrastructure, and digital transformation."
Filipe Nyusi will be part of the High Level panel of the Opening Session, where priorities on bilateral economic cooperation between the US and Africa will be addressed.
