In the first three months of the year, the value exported by Portuguese-speaking countries to the Chinese special administrative region was 213 million patacas (25 million euros), according to the Statistics and Census Service (DSEC), cited by Lusa news agency.
The amount of goods imported from Macau by the Lusophone bloc grew by 11.6% in annual terms, standing at 325 thousand patacas (38.1 thousand euros).
Macao recorded a total value of external merchandise trade of 42.4 billion patacas (five billion euros) in the reporting period, up 28.6% compared to the first quarter of 2021.
