Esperança Bias, a member of Frelimo's Political Commission and head of the assistance brigade for Cabo Delgado province, says that in Mocímboa da Praia, the conditions are right for the electoral campaign and, consequently, the local elections.

Speaking this Tuesday in the city of Pemba, at the end of his working visit to that province, Esperança Bias was quoted by RM as saying that after the terrorist actions, life was returning to normal in that part of the province.

The source also said that the climate of security is consolidating in Cabo Delgado province.

It should be noted that Cabo Delgado province has been the target of terrorist attacks since 2017 and one of the regions that has been the scene of these incursions is Mocímboa da Praia.
