The independent presidential candidate, Venâncio Mondlane, has already accepted the presidential invitation for a meeting between the President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, and the four presidential candidates. The Podemos party, which supports Venâncio Mondlane, has accepted the invitation.

However, with a view to making the debate as wide-ranging as possible for Mozambicans, Mondlane and Podemos today submitted the terms of reference (TOR) to the office of the President of the Republic and the Attorney General's Office in order to move forward with debates at the meeting.

These terms include the names of social activists, politicians, religious figures, writers, military personnel, judges and others. Check out the list below.

The candidate and the party also want the candidates to be accompanied by their respective teams.

No less important in the meeting are the state institutions and collectives.

It is with these that the party believes it is pertinent to hold a debate, because "the issue of sovereignty and fundamental rights is not the monopoly of political parties".
