Today is the day set aside by the Podemos party for peaceful protests throughout the country, in rejection of the preliminary results from the electoral institutions in the districts and provinces.

At first, the idea was for each citizen to stay at home. However, the triple murder of lawyer Elvino Dias, Podemos party spokesman Paulo Guambe, and a third citizen, led presidential candidate Venâncio Mondlane to call on people to take to the streets.
