Elon Musk announced on the social network X the creation of the political party "America Party", promising to "give freedom back" to the Americans.

The confirmation, according to Sic noticia, comes a day after the billionaire launched a poll among his followers asking whether the country needed a change.

The result of the poll was positive and Musk now guarantees that the new political force will restore freedom to the United States.

"They want a new political party and they'll get it! When it comes to bankrupting our country with waste and corruption, we live in a one-party system, not a democracy. Today, 'America Pary' is formed to give you your freedom back," Musk wrote on social media.

Musk comes in the wake of tension with Donald Trump over the approval of the government's tax package, which led him to create his party.
