This morning, the Assembly of the Republic (AR) elected the body's vice-presidents in what was the first of the two days of the extraordinary session
Those elected are Hélder Injojo and Fernando Jone, from the parliamentary benches of Frelimo and the Optimistic People for the Development of Mozambique (PODEMOS), respectively.
At the same session, the members of the Standing Committee were also elected, namely Feliz Sílvia, head of the Frelimo caucus, Sebastião Mussanhane, head of the PODEMOS caucus, Gerónimo Malagueta, head of the Renamo caucus and Fernando Bismarque, head of the Mozambique Democratic Movement (MDM) caucus, among others.
The substitutes are Amílcar Ussene, Deolinda Chochoma, Francisco Cabo, Dominic Phiri, Maria Zalimba, Rute Manjate, Lúcia Afate and Viana Magalhães.
