Members of the Frelimo party in Zambezia marched this Saturday in Quelimane to celebrate the advantage of the results of the general elections announced on Thursday by the National Electoral Commission (CNE).
Frelimo's first secretary in Zambézia, Momade Juízo, said that the vote cast for his party and its candidate, Daniel Chapo, represents the population's confidence in the conduct of the province's destiny.
He condemned the vandalism that dominated demonstrations all over the country shortly after the results were announced.
He pointed out that "this year, in these elections, here in Zambézia, in our Provincial Assembly there will be 83 members of the provincial assembly for Frelimo."
