The world of technology brings us news every day. And this time of year, despite the shortage of material for the production of new cell phones, here comes a "surprise". The latest rumors indicate that in the first half of 2022 Apple will release a new iPhone 5G SE 3. And analysts glimpse the possibility that this will be an important feature of Apple to entice the billions of Android users, that is, turn them into switchers.

All indications are that the design of the iPhone 5G SE 3 will be the same as the current iPhone SE, with a 4.7-inch LCD screen and a design similar to that of the iPhone 8. With no major aesthetic changes it should keep Touch ID on the Home button, and will likely feature a Starlight and Midnight color variant.

Some rumors indicated that this cheap Apple line would have a larger, 5.5-inch screen and a Touch ID side button, and that it would not be based on the iPhone 8, but rather on the iPhone XR, not excluding the front Face ID.

When it comes to processor options, remember that the current iPhone SE uses the A13 Bionic. For the next generation an increase in specifications is expected, as it is likely to contain the A15 Bionic chip, the same as the iPhone 13 line. But it will also come as no surprise if Apple keeps the same processor, as since the launch of the SE line it has never changed it.

As for storage, the current SE model is available with 64 GB and 128 GB. And since the changes with the iPhone 13 led the line to start with 128 GB, perhaps the company could follow the same trend with the iPhone SE 3.

There is no speculation yet for the Camera, but we consider that if it has the design of the iPhone 8, it will probably have only one main sensor.

On the other hand, almost all rumors agree in the speculations about support for 5G connectivity. In June, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo already said that the iPhone SE 3 would feature two major upgrades: 5G and a better processor.

A report by TrendForce said that Apple would announce the iPhone SE 3 in the first quarter of 2022, which suggests that the company may hold another special event around March. Production volume is expected to range between 25 and 30 million units.

At the moment, there are no rumors about the price of the new iPhone SE 3. Since it is the most affordable iPhone, it is likely to remain priced between $269 (17,400 meticals) and $399 (25,750 meticals) at the current exchange rate.
