On Wednesday, the President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, appointed Eduardo Namburete, a member of parliament from Renamo, the main opposition party, as ambassador to Algeria.
Eduardo Namburete is a lecturer at the Eduardo Mondlane University (UEM). He created the School of Communication and Arts (ECA), where he became director.
In separate presidential orders, the head of state appointed Fortunato Albrinho to the post of High Commissioner of the Republic of Mozambique to the Republic of Ghana and Alexandre Herculano Manjate to the post of High Commissioner of the Republic of Mozambique to the Republic of Malawi.
