Unknown assailants set fire to Namicopo administrative post

Desconhecidos incendeiam posto administrativo de Namicopo

Last night, a group of unknown citizens set fire to the Namicopo Administrative Post in the city of Nampula and reduced it to ashes.

Most of the rooms were engulfed in flames. It was still burning in the morning.

As reported by Success TVThe fire was set on the infrastructure in retaliation for the killing of three citizens by police officers from the Republic of Mozambique yesterday.

Yesterday, the media reported three deaths caused by shootings by the PRM. At a press conference, the PRM in the city of Nampula said it had not recorded any deaths caused by the corporation.

Because of the deaths, people captured a PRM officer in plain clothes. The police managed to rescue him, according to the police.

In the city of Nampula, the PRM has already gone public to complain about the persecution of its members.
