Ten people have died and thirteen others have been injured in the current rainy season, victims of lightning strikes in the province of Tete, reports "O País."

According to the source, the deaths occurred in the districts of Tsangano, Angónia and Cahora Bassa. Two of the victims are from the same family.

The INGD delegate also said that 400 families whose fields were affected by the El Nino phenomenon in the districts of Doa and Mutarara are without food assistance due to the impassability of the roads.
