Daniel Chapo, presidential candidate for the Frelimo party will be present at the meeting with Filipe Nyusi and other presidential candidates, Frelimo party spokeswoman Ludmila Maguni confirmed to MZNews. 

"Presidential candidate Daniel Chapo confirms his participation in the meeting, reaffirming his commitment to promoting political stability in the country," says a Frelimo party document sent to MZNews.

The invitation was made by the President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, on the 20th of this month, and aims to address the political crisis following the electoral process in Mozambique.

Until then, Daniel Chapo was the only presidential candidate who had not confirmed his presence at the meeting.

The meeting is scheduled to take place tomorrow at 4 p.m. in the office of the President of the Republic.
