At the level of heads of state, Angola, São Tomé and Príncipe, and Guinea-Bissau will be represented by their respective presidents.
Mozambique is participating in the summit with a delegation headed by the Prime Minister, Carlos Agostinho do Rosário, said the Head of Government's office. Among it are the deputy minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Manuel José Gonçalves, the deputy minister of Land and Environment, Fernando Bemane De Sousa, representatives of government institutions, private sector and civil society.
Official information indicates that the Angolan president, João Lourenço, will make his speech during the week, and will maintain an intense agenda of contacts with foreign co-generations and other world leaders.
COP26, which runs until November 12, brings together presidents and heads of governments from around the world, thousands of scientists, businessmen, institutional representatives and non-governmental organizations to announce new climate commitments and advance climate change negotiations, with the main objective of making operational all the points of the Paris Agreement and the Framework Convention.
