The lawyer, Elvino Dias, revealed that the structure set up to support Venâncio Mondlane's independent presidential candidacy has new technology capable of carrying out a parallel vote count with greater precision.
According to Mondlane's representative, this material is more sophisticated than the system used in the parallel vote count during the local elections of October 11, 2023, for the Maputo city council.
He was speaking a few days ago in Maputo, when he submitted a complaint to the Attorney General's Office against electoral offenses by the Frelimo party and against the National Electoral Commission. At the time, according to the representative, Venâncio Mondlane was in the country's capital to test this technological equipment.
In addition, Dias assured the journalist that there are candidate delegates throughout the country who will have to work in all the polling stations.
