The Christian Council of Mozambique in Cabo Delgado has suspended the channeling of humanitarian aid to families displaced by terrorism, housed in Ancuabe, due to difficulties in transporting goods.
The difficulties in accessing the Ancuabe district are a result of the terrorist attack that took place in the Nanduli village last week, according to the delegate of the Christian Council of Mozambique in Cabo Delgado, Emerson Ubisse.
"Suppliers are somewhat afraid to travel or transport materials and food to these routes. We still have to wait until the environment is calmer. The institutions responsible for security will inform us if we can circulate or not, and based on this information we will see if we continue or change some strategy or even the place of action, all we want is to guarantee the safety of the people and the activists", said Emerson Ubisse, quoted by Radio Mozambique.
