The compensation of more than 100 families and social infrastructures covered by the Lioma road in Zambézia to Mutuali in Nampula has already been completed.
This was announced on Saturday (24) by the representative of the company carrying out the work, Jorge Castro, on the sidelines of the visit by the Minister for Public Works, Housing and Water Resources, Carlos Mesquita.
Quoted by Radio MozambiqueThe source explained, without revealing the amount disbursed for the payment of improvements and compensation to the families, that the process was swift, which allowed the rehabilitation work to begin.
According to Jorge Castro, more than 500 workers, most of them local, are involved in the rehabilitation work on the Gurué-Nampevo, Magige-Molumbo and Lioma-Mutuali sections.
On the occasion, the Minister of Public Works, Housing and Water Resources, Carlos Mesquita, said he was pleased with the transparency during the compensation process.
